After playing for the reserves on Tuesday night Daniel Agger could make his first team return against Chelsea this afternoon.
"Daniel trained today. I watched the DVD of the reserve game and he did well," said Rafa Benitez.
"Maybe he will have a chance for Sunday - we will see.
"He is a player who can defend really well but he also has quality in possession. It will be good to have him back."
