Agger injury latest

The centre-back has been told by specialists in his native Denmark that he can return to first team action after training in specially modified boots to protect his metatarsal.

Rafael Benitez is unlikely to play Agger against Middlesbrough tomorrow but will ease him back into action. The Dane could play for the reserves against Manchester United next week.
