Aldo's son gets more time to prove himself

Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge's son Paul, has been invited back to Macclesfield Town on non-contract terms.

Macclesfield boss David Moss has invited the 20-year old midfielder to pre-season training following on from a short spell at the club last season, after Tranmere released him.

"He's a midfield player but like his dad he's a goalscorer," said Moss.
