Aldridge Marvels at Milan

The 22-year-old, dubbed the 'Ostravan Maradona by fans in his homeland, was rested in the 4-2 win over Levski Sofia, a decision Aldridge feels should not be repeated if the Reds are to see the best form of the exciting forward.

Aldridge said: "Now he is back, he should be rewarded with a decent run in the side. Personally, I think he is an excellent striker. He runs at defenders, is not scared to shoot and has proved he has the killer instinct in the box.

"Those are qualities the Reds have missed over the last few months. He showed at Leeds last week what a talent he is.

"I am sure he would not complain if he started each of the club's remaining matches. I wouldn't either."
