"It is clear we have not got the squad to be able to compete for three major trophies," said the Liverpool boss.
"Next season our aim is to have enough quality players to be able to do so. We are working towards the new season, we are working for the next game and we are working for the final.
"That is my responsibility as a manager. All I can say is that I want good players coming here next season, good enough for us.
"I am very happy with the Carling final and the Champions League final, but I am not happy with our away form."
