Alonso injury latest

Alonso was subsituted at half time during Saturday's FA Cup third round win over Preston and needed seven stitches in a cut on his right foot. However, scans have revealed the injury isn't any more serious than that and the Spaniard should be fit for the double header against Everton, although he remains a doubt for this weekend's match at Stoke.
