"It [Tesday's result] is hard to take, but I think we have to be happy and proud with the performance of the team," said the midfielder.
"I have a mixture of feelings. I am disappointed we haven't gone through, but proud we kept fighting until the end.
"Now have to think about the Premier League. There is still much to play for and if we can continue to play as we did against Blackburn and Chelsea, we will try to make things difficult for United."
