Alonso passed fit

Alonso missed the FA Cup win over Manchester United after picking up a knock in the league game with Arsenal last week. However, Alonso has revovered from the knock and is set to feature against Benfica tonight.

"Xavi is ok. He has travelled, he is well and he can be fit for tomorrow's game." said manager Rafael Benitez in his pre-match press conference.
