"Obviously, Juventus is Juventus - the most important club in Italy," the Spanish midfielder told Gazzetta dello Sport. "But you cannot be disappointed at Liverpool.
"One thing I can say is that I appreciated the honesty of the Juventus executives. I was told why they chose Poulsen ahead of me.
"These things happen in football. It should be good. I could go. I'm not going to reject them because they chose another player.
"Truly, for my part, the attraction remains intact. I like that they are rebuilding from scratch in the right way. I like the leadership."
