Anderson, who signed for the Reds from Hull during the transfer window, scored his first Anfield goal on Thursday when he netted the opener in Liverpool's FA Youth Cup game with Ipswich.

After the game Anderson told the official site about his delight in scoring in front of the Kop.

"It was a good moment for me to score my first goal for Liverpool at Anfield especially with it being in front of the Kop and I am delighted," he said.

"It was a tough game that could have gone either way but more importantly it was good for the team that we won and keep progressing in the FA Youth Cup.

"It's a good experience for the young lads to play at Anfield and you get a lot of confidence from it. I'm looking forward to the next round against Burnley as they knocked out my former club Hull City so hopefully we can go there and win."
