Nicolas Anelka has revealed that Liverpool and PSG have agreed a transfer fee for his services.
While supporters are under the impression that the Anelka brothers are playing up again due to the delay of any transfer to Anfield, it is quite obvious that Gerard Houllier is not 100% convinced with the player/deal and is looking at other options. If they fall through then of course Anelka was always the player he wanted to sign.
Feedback from Anfield suggests Liverpool are waiting to hear from Anelka but the Anelka camp will have you say he is waiting to hear from Liverpool - you have to decide which one of those two lines to believe is the most accurate.
Speaking today to LFC.TV, Anelka says: "Liverpool and Paris St. Germain have reached a financial agreement about me. Now it's up to the manager to decide.
"I would like to stay here. And not just for a year or two, but for a long time."
