Aquilani signs

The 25 year old midfielder has signed a five year contract with the Reds in deal that will eventually be worth £20m after passing a stringent medical yesterday.

Fans will have to wait a while to see Aquilani in action as he is currently sidelined as he recovers from an ankle operation. The Italian international will be out for four to eight weeks.
