Although central defensive partner Roberto Ayala will be missing after picking up a red card against Basle yesterday, Pellegrino is hoping that he can put the result behind them and pick up three points on the 30th.
He said: "We've got to go to Anfield to put the finishing touches to this campaign and make sure we end up top of the group.
"We have to put the Basel game behind us. We had a bit of bad luck on the goals we conceded but there is now a bit of room for improvement in defence.
