Arsenal want Malouda

The French international winger is a target of Rafael Benitez, but Liverpool may now have to go above their £8m valuation as Arsenal have now declared an interest in signing Malouda.

Lyon value Malouda at £10m and they may get that if the Reds and the Gunners end up bidding against each other. Malouda in contracted at Lyon until 2011 so the French champions hold the aces.
