The Reds were excellent against Arsenal for the first 45 minutes yesterday and deservedly went in 1-0 up at the break. Unfortunately the second half display was absolute garbage and yet another woeful defensive display allowed the Gunners to take all three points.
"There was a big difference between the first and second halves. In the first-half we were on top and much more dangerous in their box," said Aurelio.
"But we didn't manage to play the same way in the second-half. There were too many long balls and we couldn't win as many second balls as we had done in the first-half.
"It's difficult to know why there was a difference in the way we played in each half.
"Maybe because they scored their two goals very quickly and turned the game around.
"Afterwards, we were trying to find a way to get back into the game, but we couldn't manage to get on the ball properly or create opportunities."
