"Bellamy has really impressed me. He reminds me of a Brazilian striker by the way he runs and hits the ball," said the Brazilian left-back.
"I have heard of his reputation, but so far he's been a terrific team-mate. People like saying stuff but I prefer to talk about what I've seen.
"All my team-mates are good professionals and we get along well. I like the way John Arne Riise gets forward as a defender and I was quite impressed with Steven Gerrard. Of course I knew about him but he transmits a lot of impetus and confidence to the whole team."
