"I find the football here reminds me of Brazil due to its physical nature," said the Brazilian.
"English football is very fast, much faster than Spain or Brazil, and you have to be stronger physically to cope with these demands.
"I don't envisage any problems adapting. I'm certain I will settle here much faster than when I left Sao Paulo to join Valencia. That was the first time I had left Brazil and it was all new to me then.
"I was in Spain for six years though and that gave me a lot of time to learn about the European style of play and a new culture.
"It was a great experience for me. I am older now and know what it takes to adapt and so it should be no problem fitting in to life here in Liverpool."
