Away goals easier for Bellamy

Bellamy scored this fourth league goal on Saturday, three of which have come away from Anfield. The Wales striker believes it is easier to score away from home because teams come to Anfield to pack their defence.

"It's definitely a lot different for me when we're home and away," said Bellamy.

"There's always more space for a player like myself away from home. It's something I'm used to because you should have seen how it was when I played for Celtic.

"Teams would camp out eleven defenders in their own box, even if they were three or four goals down. I struggled to even score one goal at home for Celtic, but it was easier away from home because teams were more prepared to commit.

"Certainly, that's what's happening a bit here at the moment. I've got more freedom and space away from home, but that's where I need to adapt at Anfield. My movement needs to improve at home to find those spaces.

"For a player like me, it's perfect when we get that first goal because the gaps start to appear."
