The German defender picked up a knee injury near the end of the game, in which Milan Baros netted four times and Bruno Cheyrou also scored.

"Markus had to come off near the end and has a little pain in his knee area," said Hugh McAuley after the match.

"We'll have to see how it goes and see if it settles down during the night but I don't think it's that serious."
