"You saw the atmosphere at Anfield and the warm reception I got off the supporters," enthused Babbel.
"The fans are fantastic and so is the place. I loved it when I played at Liverpool and I would love to be playing there again next season.
"For me, it's the best stadium in England. I hope I can go back there next season. I really hope Liverpool finish fourth. It's a great club and they have to play in the Champions League.
"The plan at the moment is that I will go back to Liverpool at the end of the season. You never know but as it stands I will be there again.
"I certainly hope to come back to Liverpool. I've been at Blackburn for most of the season and I have got my fitness back."
