Babel played for the reserves in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Huddersfield yesterday afternoon but had to subsituted fifteen minutes from time after taking a blow to the ribs. He was later taken to hospital for an X-ray to assess the full extent of the injury.
Nathan Ecclestone scored the reserves' goal in the defeat.
