Babel was in the bad books after telling his followers on Twitter about being dropped from the squad for the Stoke game. He was fined two weeks wages but has since made it up with Benitez and could be selected for tonight's game with Spurs.
"He came to my office and he apologised," revealed the boss.
"He knows he has made a mistake and for me that's enough. I don't want to talk about it too much, it is better to focus on things we can change.
"Ryan will be in the squad. We have 20 players ready for the training session and he is among these 20 players."
