Barca admit defeat over Baros

Reports from Spain are claiming that Barca had agreed terms with Milan Baros over the move but the Spanish side were priced out of the transfer by Liverpool's valuation of the player.

"Baros had a great European Championship and like all great players has possibilities of playing for Barcelona, but not this season," Barca supremo Joan Laporta stated.

"His high price makes his arrival here very difficult."
