Liverpool midfielder Nick Barmby has been pencilled in to return to the squad that will take Everton on in the Merseyside derby next Saturday.
Barmby, out of action since October with an ankle injury that eventually required surgery, had hoped to be return for the Galatasaray game but with only two reserve games under his belt, it is unlikely that he will be rushed back just yet.
