Baros and Diouf are good enough

With Michael Owen and Emile Heskey both ruled out through injury the Czech and Senegalese strikers will get their chance to prove themselves this evening when Liverpool take on Newcastle at St James Park.

"It takes a lot of time for players to settle into the English game as it is different to any other league," said Houllier. "Milan has done very well for a young lad. I am pleased and very happy for him.

"He has worked very hard to get to this level. He has created chances in a lot of games. Every game he shows a bit more.

"Diouf is a very talented player. He is strong and covers a lot of ground. He creates chances and scores goals.

"It is all about adaptation and settling into the English game. When he came on against Arsenal, he did a good job."
