Baros delighted with hat-trick

"That was my first ever hat-trick in Liverpool," he said aftert the game. "It was something special because it was a last minute penalty.

"I was so nervous before the penalty but I wanted to take it because I'd never scored a hat-trick, but I was quite confident after scoring the first one.

"I just took it and wanted to put the ball in the back of the net, so I'm happy we got thje three points and that's the important thing.

"It's difficult because Michael Owen has gone and Djibril Cisse is out for the rest of the season, but Neil Mellor showed in the week that he can score the goals aswell and Sinama Pongolle played well

"Maybe in January Rafa will sign a new striker, but it's still a long time away so we have to be careful and play our game."
