The 21-year-old Czech striker became an instant idol for thousands of Liverpool fans as his fearless and direct style earnt him 12 goals - the second highest total of any player last season - in his debut season.
Despite making such an impression so early in his career at Anfield, a humble Baros knows that he can still improve by playing alongside a former European Player of the Year in Michael Owen.
Baros said: "I can only learn off playing with soemeone like Michael. When I first came to Liverpool I had to change and learn a lot of things, but now I am more comfortable and I'm enjoying it.
"It was always a dream of mine to play in the Premiership and to play for Liverpool - it's a big challenge for me.
"Liverpool is a big club with a big history so it's great for me to play here."
