Baros hoping to score

Baros left Liverpool for Aston Villa in August and tomorrow faces his former side for the first time. The Czech international has admitted he would love to score against the Reds as he looks set to return from injury.

"I can't wait to face Liverpool. I have nothing to prove - what happened is that I moved and you have to move if you want to play first-team football," said Baros.

"I always had a good relationship with the Liverpool fans and I'll always support them. I want to do my best for Villa and the fans and that's all. Of course there will be a special motivation because it's my former club and I've still got a lot of friends there.

"If I could score against them, it would be great, but only from the point of view that I want to score in every game. What matters is three points."
