"I've never played in a derby before so it's something I'm really looking forward to, but it would be wrong for me to take it for granted I am playing. That's up to the manager," admitted the Czech striker.

"Of course it would be a dream for me to play on Sunday and even more of a dream to score a goal.

Baros is well aware of the importance of the fixture, more so this time with Moyes' side above the Reds in the Premiership table.

"I want to score in every game I play, no matter who the opposition are, but because it's a derby and the people in Liverpool are talking so much about this game I know it will give every player who is selected even more pleasure to score.

"It's an exciting opportunity for me to have the chance to play in this match and I hope if it happens I can score another goal for the fans because I understand how much a game like this means to them.

"We want to win every game we play, but Sunday is even more special. The main thing is we play well against Everton and, hopefully, win the game."

Let's hope Milan gets the opportunity he deserves to make his mark.
