Baros leads Reds to victory

The 22-year-old Czech international striker gave the Reds a seemingly unassailable 3-0 lead ten minutes into the second half after first half goals from John Welsh and Irish youngster Michael Foley Sheridan had put the Reds in control.

Two late goals from the visiting Villains and a Darren Potter dismissal for the hosts made for a frenetic closing spell but a second-string side also including Chris Kirkland, who was replaced at half-time by Patrice Luzi, and Djimi traore held firm to claim three welcome points.
