Baros likely to be rested

Liverpool face the Welsh champions in the first qualifying round of the Champions League tonight and whoever features for the Reds will be cup-tied for the rest of the season which will affect their transfer value.

With Benitez hoping to sign Peter Crouch, Baros may find himself surplus to requirements at Anfield this season. Although Baros has spoken of his desire to stay, with a World Cup coming up he may decide to leave if he finds himself dropping down the pecking order.
