Baros: We can make the Champions League

Baros, who has scored nine goals this season despite limited opportunities, believes the impressive victory over West Ham has shown the standard of performance that must be reached consistently if Liverpool are to reach the top four.

He said: "It's clear to all of us we're not going to get the title this year. We're 14 points off the leaders Arsenal and that's just too much.

"But what's more important now is getting into the Champions League. If we play like we did at West Ham, then we've got what it takes to do it."
