Baros said: "In my opinion the Czech Republic will be among the favourites for Euro 2004 in Portugal. I think we are in a very hard group but only strong teams will be in Portugal.
"It's a pity we got Holland but on the other hand our first game is against Latvia, and if we win that our confidence can only incerease.
"Germany have not shown dazzling form, but there is no better team when it comes to final tournaments. As for Holland we know each other from our qualifying games.
"We have had some troubles with injuries during the season such as me and Tomas Rosicky, but that could work in our favour as we may be fresher than our opponents.
"It would be great to repeat the success of Euro 96 when we got to the final. I believe we can go far if we qualify from the group as we are hungry for success."
