Barry move closer

Barry has been fined two weeks' wages and banned from attending pre-season training with Aston Villa following his comments about Martin O'Neill on Sunday. Barry only found out about the ban when he read it on Villa's official website.

The Midlands club have admitted Barry will be joining Liverpool, it's now just a matter of the clubs agreeing a fee. The Reds had a fourth bid, believed to be in the region of £15m rejected yesterday.
