"We've had face-offs with Liverpool before, in the recent past, and judging from those results, and maybe also judging from the current form of the two teams, we are probably considered to be slight favourites in these two matches. Let's put it this way we seem to have a good chance of making to the next round," said the veteran defender.
"Having said that, we rate Liverpool very highly, especially when they play at home on their own turf. They are a very strong team, physically as a fighting team, but also in terms of footballing ability.
"You should be very cautious about making these predictions, especially in the Champions League, because you can be proved wrong."
