Bellamy deal on?

Liverpool were linked with a £12m move for Charlton's Darren Bent. However, Djibril Cisse's broken leg means the Reds will not get the £8m transfer fee they were expecting for the French striker. This means Rafael Benitez could instead look at Blackburn's Craig Bellamy.

Bellamy has a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave Ewood Park for £6m. The Welsh striker was a boyhood Liverpool fan and would be interested in a move to Anfield.
