Bellamy on score sheet

Bellamy scored twice as Wales drew 2-2 with New Zealand in a dull game at the Racecourse yesterday afternoon.

New Zealand twice took the lead against an off colour Wales side before Bellamy twice equalised to rescue a draw in an embarrasing performance by the Welsh.

Bellamy was easily the man of the match but some poor performances from those around him, especially the defence, meant Wales were unable to find a winner in the second half.

"We have no right to beat anyone. You have to go out and earn the right to win and we did not do that today," said the Liverpool striker.

"You can see the difference with myself, I have been kept in training and I was a little sharper than everyone else. I started well and faded a little.

"Czech Republic are an exceptional team and we need to improve, but we will work on it."
