"I went for one week and I had a nice time there," said Benitez. "We were allowed to watch different styles of training.
"Steve McClaren was fantastic with us and we learned such a lot. The football cultures on England and Spain are very different."
Benitez is now inviting fellow Spanish coaches to Melwood to observe Liverpoo's set-up.
"We had one Spanish coach arriving at our training ground today," he added. "There will be another next week and anoter one after that. They want to come here and see what's happening."
