The Czech attacker, who scored two penalties in the match against Palace on Saturday, should be more aware of players around him and get his head up more, according to an interview with Benitez on the club website.

Benitez added: "We have talked about him playing with his head up more, seeing more of what is happening around him. But it is like wanting to teach your children things. It takes time."

But Benitez praised the in-form striker, and said he believes Baros can go from strength to strength.

"It is hard to talk about where someone needs to improve after they have scored goals but we will try to show him where he can develop his play. He is very quick and that made it very difficult for the defenders. But you cannot play on your own."
