"Our relationship is a professional relationship and he's a player who can play or not depending on my decisions," said the Liverpool boss. "In terms of the relationship it is good - we don't have problems.

"If he works hard for the team he can play more games, but it depends if Morientes, Crouch or Sinama play well it will be more difficult for him and better for me because the competitiveness is good for the team."
