Benitez not underestimating United

Manchester United were poor in last week's Manchester derby when they were comfortably beaten by City 3-1 but Benitez will not be underestimating Alex Ferguson's side and is wary of a United backlash.

Benitez said: "When you lose to your rivals you want to win the next game and they will be trying their best to beat us. We know what a difficult game it will be but it's really important for us to win every game and keep improving.

"For me the team is playing well, winning games and is consistent. We are scoring goals and keeping clean sheets and although Old Trafford is a difficult place to go we will go there with confidence and try to do a good job.

"We will try to play attacking football but if we can't do that then we must do good counter attacks. When you play against the best teams you then get to see how good your level is and how well we are improving."
