Benitez pleased with his players

Salif Diao's first goal in two years and a brace from subsitute Milan Baros were enough to see off Millwall and after the game Benitez was quick to praise the professionalism of his side.

"It was a hard game, but we played well. Our players kept calm and were controlled and that is important in these types of games," he said.

"If you don't have a good mentality or level of concentration, you will be in trouble. But I think we controlled the game."
