Robbie Fowler, Fernando Morientes and Peter Crouch were all on the scoresheet as Liverpool racked up their biggest win of the season to date when they beat Fulham 5-1 last night.

After the game Rafa Benitez spoke of his delight in seeing his strikers finding the net and said he always had confidence in them despite their recent poor run of form.

"It was a fantastic game for the strikers and the team and it was very important for us to see them score," said a very happy Liverpool manager.

"It was good to see Robbie Fowler, Fernando Morientes and Peter Crouch all score and the assists of Djibril Cisse and it is very important for their confidence.

"It has given me a nice selection problem for the next game but a good one. This was a really important three points for us and my idea is to get another three points at Newcastle in the next game on Sunday.

"We were all waiting for Robbie to score his first goal back at Liverpool and it was a reward for his hard work. It was good for the supporters, the team and Robbie for him to score."
