Benitez to make his decision this week

Benitez is the bookies' favourite to take over from Gerard Houllier at Anfield but he has also been offered an improved deal from Valencia this weekend.

"The offer is on the table and we will give an answer in the next two or three days," said his representative Manuel Garcia Quilon.
