Benitez wins legal battle

When Benitez resigned as manager of Valencia to take over at Liverpool the Spanish side refused to pay the bonuses Benitez had earned by winning two La Liga titles and the UEFA cup.

The Spanish Football Federation yesterday ruled in Benitez' favour, awarding him 2.4m Euros, while Paco Ayesteran recieves 600,000 Euros.
