Bid made for Carson

Liverpool have bid £250,000 for the England under 21's international although Leeds value him far higher than that. However, the player is out of contract in the Summer so Liverpool will not pay too high a fee for him.

Aston Villa and Wigan are also said to be interested in signing Carson.
