Former Manchester United manager and alleged football pundit Ron Atkinson says he is not sure that Liverpool have what it takes to challenge for the title.
"Liverpool will be hard to beat and El Hadji Diouf looks a lively signing but I wonder whether they have enough spark and cleverness," said Atkinson.
"I still think they need a midfielder who can unlock the door with a cunning pass or a wide player who can dribble."
