Blackwell confident

The Luton manager is pleased with the way his side have been playing and believes they can give Liverpool a game this afternoon.

"We have got nothing to lose. If we win it will be a phenomenal achievement and if we lose then everyone thought it would be the case," said Blackwell.

"In that respect, the pressure is not on Luton, but what we have to do is put as much pressure as we can on Liverpool.

"All we can do is keep playing the same way we have been. We have looked good in recent weeks and our cup form has been good. If we can continue to play the way we have been playing then the lads will put on a good show.

"If it wasn't for our 10-point deduction we'd be three points off the play-offs. We got to within three minutes of the quarter finals of the Carling Cup, and we are in the last 32 of the FA Cup. We've actually had a great season. It just feels like a disaster."
