Bolton chase Hamann

Hamann's contract with Liverpool is up at the end of the season and although there has been talk of a new deal nothing has been sorted allowing Bolton to declare an interest in the German midfielder.

With Fernando Hierro set to leave Bolton at the end of the season Sam Allardyce has already earmarked Hamann as his replacement in the holding midfielder role.

The move will be tempting to Hamann as it will mean he does not have to leave his current home.
