Bolton v Liverpool - Vital statistics

Last updated : 05 February 2004 By Kevin Smith
Bolton are looking to record their fourth Premiership win in a row on Saturday and a win would see them jump above Liverpool in the table.

A win for Liverpool could see them move to fourth place, albeit temporarily. If they do it will be the first win in four Premiership games, after losing at Spurs and drawing with Wolves and Everton.

Bolton

Won four of the last six games in all competitions.
Enjoying their best ever Premiership season. The previous best to this stage was 25 points.
Scored in each of the last 11 Premiership matches.
One of two clubs to have drawn six home matches in the top League. The other is Manchester City.
Their 28 Premiership goals have been scored by eight different players. Only Southampton and Newcastle (seven each) have a lower total of different scorers in top flight matches this season.

Liverpool

If drawn, this game will be Liverpool's 50th draw in the Premiership since Gerard Houllier took sole charge.
Only once before have Liverpool claimed fewer than 34 points at this equivalent stage of a season. They accumulated just 29 in 1992/93, going on to finish sixth.
The Reds have gone 29 Premiership matches since losing by more than one goal.
